The SleepyTime4Kat Productions Indiegogo Campaign is LIVE!!

https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/sleepytime4kat-porductions/x/8535279

With your donation I intend to start-up such projects as:

The Random Trade Review-I (and possibly a guest) will review a randomly selected comic trade paperback.

What Went Wrong-A roundtable discussion of various aspects of geek culture (comics, movies, video games, TV,etc.) and how or why the failed.

Comic Shop Savior-Every year; 14.4 million comic shops in this country go out of Business. In the mind of Jakob Geiss...that's 14 million too many; so, he's made it his mission to travel across the country and hopefully save some of these shops from becoming a statistic. (This may be animated or some type of audio drama depending on outcomes).

The Untitled Video Game Review Project-After finally tightening up the graphics on level 3. Brothers Philip and Cade Fairbush have finally qualified for an internship with internet video game reviewer Arnold Vahtch; aka the Gaming Viscount.

Working for the Internet's most beloved game reviewers sounds like fun...Until an unfortunate accident causes Arnold to be incapacitated.

Now, it falls to Philip and Cade to take over reviewing games...Will it work? Who knows. (This may be animated or some type of audio drama depending on outcomes).

RedRight Riffs-Look at Pontiac (1954)

I have been having problems with YouTube (apparently using music composed in 1890 and preformed in 1927 doesn't constitute "Public Domain" so I haven't been able to monetize most of my videos.

Fortunately, I have several shorts from Archive.org. These are public domain and so I should be able to make some money from these riffs.

Update with an Announcement and some Future Production Ideas.

As some of you may know (or at least one of you given how many YouTube subscribers I have), the most recent episode of The Mass Comic UnBoxing had an accompanying message that due to some computer problems that I have been having, the next episode might be later than usual.

Well, I have some good news and some bad news. The good news is; if I'm carefull where I store my videos (not on my computers Hard Drive, but on a seperate one), I should be able to keep doing the show for at least a little while longer. The Bad news is; at some point, I will have to get a new computer.

I was planning a Kickstarter campaign to fund some future video projects and have decided to try folding the cost of a new computer into that.

Some of the projects that I intend to work on include:

The Mass Comic UnBoxing: I am going through several unopened boxes of comics that I accumulated between 2007 and 2010. (Already in progress)

The Random Trade Review: I will review a trade selected randomly from my collection or from suggestion. (Yes, the suggestion will be one of the Kickstarter choices)

What Went Wrong: A round-table discussion of various geek-centric ventures (comics, movies, video games) and how they failed.

Comic Shop Savior (Animated or Audio Skit possible future series): Think Kitchen Nightmares or Bar Rescue, only with a comic shop slant. A expert in the field of operating a comic shop butts heads with the owners of failing comic shop, who think they're doing the right thing except they're failing. And in all likelihood will wind up going out of business anyway.

Untitled Video Game Review show project (animated): Two brothers get internships at the offices of a well-known Internet Video Game Reviewer, only to wind up taking over the show when the host becomes incapacitated.

I will post about the Kickstarter as soon as I can.

The Mass Comic UnBoxing Episode 1-Bryce Dallas Howard was a Cylon the whole time!!

The original version of this episode had me going over the comics immediately after I opened the box. However, it came across as really clunky and I was babbling a lot. So, instead I just did the voice over because that seems to work better.
